Cookie policy

This policy applies only to guide.endmilerouting.co.uk. Cookies are small text files; local storage is browser storage that is not automatically sent with every request.
Your controls
The first cookie notice briefly explains why the Guide uses storage. Choose “Accept optional cookies”, “Reject optional cookies”, or “Manage cookies”. Analytics and advertising default to off and appear as separate choices only after you open “Manage cookies”. Necessary storage is always enabled so the Guide can remember your selection. Select the optional categories you want, then choose “Save choices”. Reopen at any time to revise or withdraw consent without clearing browser storage. A material policy-version change causes us to ask again.

Analytics
GA4 is not requested until analytics consent. The deployed web-stream configuration creates the following first-party cookies; no Google Signals, User-ID or advertising features are declared by this code.

Consent Mode sends analytics_storage: granted only for this choice. Rejection keeps GA4 completely unloaded, rather than sending cookieless pings.
Advertising
AdSense is not currently deployed: no publisher identifier or ad slot is present, so the selected production configuration currently produces no AdSense cookies, storage or third-party ad connections. The loader is additionally disabled unless a build explicitly confirms certified-CMP readiness.
If configured later, it will connect to pagead2.googlesyndication.com only after advertising consent. Exact cookies/storage and connections vary with the final AdSense, privacy-message and ad-personalisation settings, so they must be captured from the deployed configuration and this table updated before launch. We will not publish a generic predicted cookie list.
Advertising acceptance grants ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization; rejection denies all three. In this implementation, rejection prevents the AdSense script entirely. Therefore contextual/non-personalised ads do not appear after rejection and make no AdSense storage or network requests. Google Fonts connections described below are separate, not ads.
Google requires publishers serving ads in the UK/EEA/Switzerland to use a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. This custom preference panel is not represented as certified. AdSense must remain disabled until an appropriate certified CMP is selected, implemented, and verified.
Fonts and icons
The Guide serves its font and interface icons from guide.endmilerouting.co.uk. It does not request Google Fonts for page presentation.
Browser controls and changes
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in browser settings. Blocking necessary storage means we cannot remember your choices and will ask again. Privacy extensions may block Google requests independently.
We may update this policy when technology, providers or law changes. We show the date above and request fresh choices after a material consent change.
